EcoDesign meets Circular Economy
Founded in 1968, the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ) is one of Germany’s leading institutions for design promotion. IDZ members include more than two hundred design-oriented companies, agencies, institutions and creatives. IDZ organises projects and events at national and international levels in active exchange with representatives from politics, culture and science. They’ll bring the „Circular Design Forum“ and the exhibition „Reconsider Design“ from the EU project „EcoDesign Circle“ to OSCEdays Berlin.
Berlin meets Circular Economy
In February 2018 Dina Padalkina and her team held a Circular Mapping Event in Berlin as the first step of the project „Circular Berlin“ which aims to unlock Berlins potential to become the first Circular City in Germany. During OSCEdays the project will make another step and invite actors form Berlin in order to increase cross sectorial and cross-industry connectivity in and around Berlin.
BioEconomy meets Circular Economy
Berlin Partner for Business and Technology is a public-private partnership to support companies, investors and scientific institutions in Berlin and to help them to create synergies and joint ventures. Berlin Partner will bring a full day session on Bioeconomy and Circular Economy to OSCEdays Berlin. Different actors from the sector will meet, present, connect and collaborate to find existing connections between Bioeconomy and Circular Economy and to build on them.
Climate Action meets Circular Economy
EIT Climate-KIC is a European knowledge and innovation community, working to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon economy. Supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, EIT Climate-KIC identifies and supports innovation that helps society mitigate and adapt to climate change. In Berlin Climate-KIC is located at the Euref-Campus. In their Green Garage they host a number of green startups and now parts of OSCEdays Berlin. Let’s connect circularity with climate action!
EcoMaker is a project of TU-Berlin and Fab Lab Berlin on sustainable product development and making. They will bring a bunch of digital and hardware tools and develop and produce with kids sustainable circular products at the event.
Fab Lab Berlin is a Berlin is an open innovation space with an innovative community providing access to tools and machines of digital fabrication. Together with TU Berlin they’ll bring the ecoMaker project.

Green Alley Award is our Circularity Impact Partner. Their Award is the only startup prize specifically for the circular economy promoting young entrepreneurs with pioneering solutions for a digital circular economy, recycling and waste prevention.
Infralab Berlin is a joint venture for innovation of the six big infrastructure providers of Berlin. They provide access to their space and insights to their work. And they will bring a CHALLENGE about designing the tendering of a circular construction project.

EY ALTER is an exhibition about age and youth at the Gasometer at the EUREF Campus. OSCEdays visitors get reduced tickets and are invited to exchange thoughts on the relation between demographic change and the reconstruction of our economy towards circularity. More.

CRCLR house is the cradle of OSCEdays Berlin. This year they set their baby free and off to new shores. But they continue their support it in the back with expertise, communication and content.
